Axis Engineering is one of the leading consultants in Western Canada when it comes to fall protection engineering. Our Fall Protection Lead, Brad Frehlich, currently maintains a leadership role on the CSA Z259 technical committee, helping to steer the development of Canadian fall protection standards. We are, therefore, able to design systems that comply with the latest Canadian standards. We can also assist the owner with procurement through our network of suppliers and installers throughout Western Canada. In a consulting role, we represent the owner, not any one supplier or installer.
We provide design and engineering services for fall protection and suspended access systems including horizontal lifelines, rigid rail systems, roof anchors, ladder systems, guardrail, and custom portable systems. Our thorough understanding of the physics at play during a fall allow us to accurately analyze even the most complex systems. We take pride in providing user-friendly and budget-friendly solutions for our clients.
We provide hazard assessments to help owners and facility managers identify and prioritize fall hazards. We understand that owners and facility managers often have limited budgets and hazard assessments are critical to ensure that the budget is being allocated efficiently.
We provide inspection services for fall protection systems as well as personal fall protection equipment. Our expertise and thoroughness give our clients peace of mind that their systems and equipment are in good condition and will function properly if called upon to save the life of a falling worker.
